This is an authorized Web site of Jehovah's Witnesses. It is a research tool for publications in various languages produced by Jehovah's Witnesses. JW Library will have the same basic functionality on all platforms. However, features and updates to the app may be released at different times for each platform. What is JWL Helper?
JWL Helper is a Windows application which acts as a 'companion' for JW Library to assist in displaying media at Kingdom Hall meetings.
Main Features
- Simple interface optimized for touch-screen devices (mouse operation works fine too)
- Purely uses JW Library for all media and is not reliant on any external feeds or services
- Ability to display external media (images, videos and audio)

* Fixed a problem where Audio files (.MP3 or .WAV) weren't recognized. They now be added and played the same as video files (they appear under the VIDEO tab).
* If 'UserImage' or 'UserVideo' folders aren't specified in the INI, they are now created automatically to improve ease of use.
* For Sunday meetings, if 'Song 1' was input manually, it is now remembered after refreshing the interface.
* Keyboard input has been enabled for entering song numbers.

* Improved monitor display handling. JWLH now uses lower level functions to extract the names of available displays rather than just 'DISPLAY 1' etc.

* Auto-update check Worms 3 v1 16. – JWL Helper will now notify you (via a Windows 10 notification) when a newer version is available.
* Custom REMINDERS – you can now specify a reminder to be shown when a video starts and/or finishes. For example, if live streaming the meeting via OBS, the operator can be reminded to switch the stream over to the video output when a video starts, and then back to the platform camera once the video finishes.
Video compiler app. To accomplish this, there are two new settings which can be added to the INI file under the [Settings] section :-
Reminder_OnVideoStart=A reminder to show when a video starts
Reminder_OnVideoFinish=Another reminder prompt for when the video finishes
* 'Right-click -> Delete' from JWL Helper could fail because the user media file might be 'locked' by JWL Helper. This release attempts to workaround that.
* Some more improvements to the JW Library compatibility (still trying to resolve those odd occasions when the JWL media window refuses to come back on the media display).

* Added support for AUDIO files (*.mp3, *.wav) to be played. They behave like video files – simply add them to the USER VIDEOS folder.
* Improved 'JW Library compatibility'. Sometimes the JWL media window wasn't coming back to the front after playing a video. Hopefully this should be resolved.

In the SETTINGS file, under the [Settings] section, edit the Language=E line and set it to your language symbol.
Note 1: if you updated from a previous version, the Language=E setting won't be present, so simply type it in under the [Settings] section and save the settings file.
Note 2: You will need to click the RELOAD ALL DATA button (bottom left, 3rd along) after saving the settings file to load the new language files.
